Creative Association FULLDOZER presents: a concert in memory of Jhonn Balance and the release of international compilation dedicated to his memory (tribute to COIL).

After the tragic death of Jhonn Balance - COIL had abolished. In one moment a musical epoch was gone. But the memory is alive. The idea of a compilation in memoriam of Jhonn Balance had been wandering the minds through the whole year after this tragic event and was realized by a virtue of two labels - Fulldozer (Russia) and Nocharizma (Ukraine). Peter Christopherson had personally approved this idea. Lots of eminent and cult musicians responded to the offer to participate in tribute.

COIL is one of the most outstanding and forward-looking (and for many people significant) bands of the last two decades. It was formed by Peter Christopherson and Jhonn Balance in 1984 in Great Britain.

"Sometime they were classics of industrial. Then pioneers of acid house. They recorded covers of Leonard Cohen songs, recorded the soundtrack to "Hellraiser"... did sound recordings for Derek Jarman films... - Jhonn Balance was one of the Coil founders. He died in an accident in Saturday, 13th of November, 2004. As was written in the Threshold House's site, Balance fell from 4,5 meters height and hit his head. He died unconscious in a hospital...

- After Jhonn's death Peter Christopherson left UK forever, moved to Bangkok and lives there now. He comes to Europe to play only 2 gigs - on December, 23 (in memoriam Jhonn Balance) in St-Petersburg and The New Year gig of Throbbing Gristle on December, 31 in Berlin.

- Ivan Pavlov aka COH is a well-known electronic musician. Born in Nizhny Novgorod, in 1995 he left Russia to work in Stockholm and stayed there. In 1996 he met COIL and their acquaintance crystallized into strong interaction and some collaboration releases. Ivan Pavlov performed with COIL in Moscow in 2001.

- Peter Christopherson and Ivan Pavlov were best friends of Jhonn Balance, they will come to St.-Petersburg to pay the tribute to the memory of their friend.
